Friends of the Park
Our Friends of the Park are vital to the success and impact of our organization! Through their ongoing monthly or annually recurring gifts, our bereavement care is provided free of charge to those in our community mourning the loss of a child. Founding Mothers and Fathers
These amazing women and men in our community came together to make The Children’s Park a reality.
The Founding Mothers rallied to purchase the land in 2001 which is now home to The Children’s Park. Each person was asked to donate either $100, $200 or $300. Within six weeks, The Children’s Park of Tyler Foundation had raised the $32,000 we needed to purchase the property! Click here for Founding Mothers
The Founding Fathers came together to finish our Phase II campaign in 2015, providing their influence and resources in our community to share The Children’s Park with all families. Click here for Founding Fathers
Major Contributors
We built The Park in phases. During our Phase I & Phase II campaigns, another incredible group of people came alongside us to support our dream. The Park would not be here without their generosity and investment. The names for our levels of contribution came from New Testament passages of the Bible in 1 Corinthians and Revelation describing the beautiful foundation of jewels in heaven. East Texas Giving Day
East Texas Giving Day is an annual community-wide giving day for our local non-profits, hosted by the East Texas Communities Foundation. By participating in East Texas Giving Day, you are helping our local non-profits help others in need.
